Through music by Bach, Stravinsky, Villa-Lobos, and accordion soloist Gwen Cresens, the program uncovers unlikely connections between composers separated by centuries, yet united by a shared fascination with Bach’s music. At its heart lies Betsubara, a new concerto written by Cresens for Boho Strings Antwerp, where Bach’s musical legacy is reimagined through a contemporary lens. The result is a concert full of colour, imagination, and unexpected connections, where Bach keeps reappearing in the most surprising ways.
